NSA President Releases Statement Congratulating President-Elect and Vice President Elect
"America’s sheriffs congratulate President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris. We look forward to working with them to keep our communities safe, just as we did with the current Administration.
I first met then Senator Joe Biden over 25 years ago at the signing of the first Violence Against Women Act and his commitment to sheriffs has not wavered over that time, and he reiterated his support for sheriffs when I met with him this past month.
We will continue to tackle this challenging year with President Trump and our federal leaders as we transition to 2021 and a new Congress and Administration."
Sheriff David Mahoney, NSA President 2020-2021
