Difficult Conversations: Moving Past Perceptions of Police Violence
Events of the past year have put into focus a divide between law enforcement and the community. According to Gallup, August saw the lowest level of confidence in the police since data has been collected. Much of this has to do with perceptions of police violence, particularly within communities of color. This has strained community relations, but also relations among officers. This webinar is part of the Difficult Conversation Series, featuring voices of veteran officers, Michael Delaney, James Lawrence and facilitated by Conflict Resolution scholar and founder of Insight Policing, Dr. Megan Price.
