Sheriffs Praise Court's Decision to Restore Valuable Funds to Law Enforcement
Alexandria, VA -- National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) Executive Director and CEO Jonathan Thompson released the following statement today regarding the 7th Circuit Court’s decision yesterday.
“We are grateful to the court for this decision that once again gives sheriffs around the country the valuable resources they need to keep their communities safe. This has been a long standing compact between the federal government and local law enforcement and we are elated that it has been restored.”
