Clients may have Alzheimer’s, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dementia or other cognitive or mental health special needs. Clients enrolled in the program are fitted with a bracelet or anklet that contains a battery operated transmitter and emits a tracking signal. If person wearing the bracelet wanders away, the caregiver calls 911. Members of our team immediately respond to the wanderer’s area and use a mobile receiver to locate the person. On average, the wanderer is successfully located within thirty minutes. August 14, 2013 - 15:11 - Sheriff deputies volunteer there morning to assist youngsters with back to school shopping at Target.
